The real truth is AFLAc will "hire" anyone. They loose nothing if someone gives up on the company. They gain all the new clients and profits new agents find and it didn't cost them a penny. There is constant recruiting and in some areas it is flooded with agents to the point where companies get pissed with all the telemarketing.
At the job fairs AFLAC does not tell you that you are a telemarkter, they set you up with a couple of "interviews" and poof get you moving towards your license. There are constant contests where you can win prizes, cash, trips. Products are great, people you work with are great. AFLAC sends you the paphlets you need at no cost via FEDEX. Biggest thing is you better be ready to be a telemarketer in a flooded market in some areas. If you are in a good area, you can clean up, otherwise you will be steping on each others toes trying to make a living.
