: Do you have any information on the history of American Insurance Life as an organization? I was contacted by them and am goign for an interview today. Their website doesn't tell me much but I would like to know some background information and you guys seem like a credible source, judging from previous responses to other inquiries.
AIL -- American Income Life is an insurance company which specializing in supplemental insurances to Union/Association based leads. You can earn a good income, but you need to learn to write "good business" as in any other insurance industry. You are not selling auto or health insurance which are at the top of peoples needs and you are also writing what is calles "debit" insurance which means it comes off monthly bank drafts rather than a payroll deduction. This position can be lucractive depending on your philosophy on insurance.
You need to decide if you are whole life or term life person, because if you are one and try to sell the other it doesn't work.
AIL's main product is Whole Life insurance. They specialize in smaller plans which cover the policyholders' funeral costs $10-20K.
I did sell AIL for about 4 months. Any other questions feel free to contact me. jdtaylor87@hotmail.com
