This is the short story. : Well, if you provide your insurance infomration in the hospital, the hospitals billing office usually takes care of it. Sometimes Aetna won't pay the full charge if you don't see a provider in their "group". . . but you can generally get them to pay more if you file an appeal. Generally, I agree with the initial statement. Aetna sucks.. and yes, they are lazy bums.
