: : I have no previous experience in sales or insurance. I am comfortable with people but I'm not one of those really charasmatic or "smooth talking" personalities that I associate with sales people. I guess my biggest concern is that I don't have the personality to be a sales person. I'm nice and friendly but shy, good-looking (if that matters), and intelligent. I have no doubt that I can "learn" the job and do it well, but it's getting my foot in the door (literally, INTO a client's door, lol) thats the biggest challenge. I understand that to be successful I can't rely on "leads" because everyone gets them, I should do some prospecting on my own? I have a fear of rejection, but as long as people are nice about it and not "NO F*&KING WAY", I'm OK with that.
