: Sounds like HBW and Robert Goldsmith's group. The guy expects you to sign a 36 month nondisclosure/noncompete agreement for his "proprietary" training, (stolen from many other sources:) That's 36 months after you notify him you're leaving not from the date you sign.
Yep, sounds like him. I ran across him about a year ago. From what I can tell he's targeting people that are fairly new in the industry and then telling them his training or intellectual property is better than anyone else can provide. And yet all he's done is take other individual's training, such as Bill Bachrach, and combine it with his so called "concepts" and then asking people to sign a 36 month nondisclosure/noncompete. I don't know whether that would hold up in court or not. It's very restrictive. Supposedly you couldn't sell any life or annuity products at all after 36 months because he could claim you were using his concepts to sell. He's very full of himself and a very good talker.
It did seem like HBW was a good organization. They have a lot of ex-Primerica agents. Anything would be an improvement from Primerica:)
