We pay over $425 per month. We are self employed so we paid the premiums out of our own account. AFLAC deposited our checks but then claimed we did not have coverage from non-payment since the money was to come from our business account. That was a huge red flag. They finally admitted error and reinstated our coverage. Then my doctor ordered an MRI and found a cancerous tumor. I then had the tumor removed. AFLAC denied my short term disability claim saying the tumor was a pre-existing condition before they wrote the policy. AFLAC took months of our premiums, would not pay on the cancer or disability portions of the policy, denied the hospital coverage and intensive care portions with me staying in the hosptial a week. Isn't this what insurance is for? Cancer can take years to develop, so that's AFLACs little scam. Take the premiums and deny claims. : You thought the City of Bell was bad? AFLAC must have made millions legit denying cancer, hospital and disability claims. Foo on AFLAC! : Sherry : : Last Month Aflac sent an agents to my job and I signed up for Life insurance. My employer was taking out money from my paycheck then I got a letter from AFLAC stating that my policy had been cancelled due to my employer not paying the premium. : : : : My employer had cancelled checks of what they had paid. : : The local representative told me that it was Aflacs fault because they had not gotten the correct paperwork into my companies accountant. Because the original representative had quit!! : : I was told in the first week of May that it would take 7-10 days to get a refund. My company gave me 1 months worth of reimbursement because AFLAC was suppose to send them a check NOTHING!!!! : : So I called the representative she stated that a check was mailed out to me instead of my company which she stated would get the refund check since they are the ones who paid the premium. She stated that the check was mailed out on the 20th of May. Well its the 1st of June and I still have nothing!!!! : : I called and spoke to a supervisor at AFLAC and he was the rudest person I have dealt with in customer service. : : I then spoke with the representative again and all I got was "what do you want me to do"? : : They are all a bunch of crooks and I am going to seek the advice of an attorney this has gone on since March Thank GOD I didn't die and left my family with this Big MESS!!! : : DO NOT GET AFLAC!!!! If they cannot send a simple refund check what makes people think that they will receive the services they are suppose to. : : Thanks for letting bme express my OPINION about what a crummy outfit AFLAC really is!!!
