Called my agent with farmers today about a quote for insurance on a home my wife and I are purchasing. It is 1 block south of Hwy 98 in faihope Al. My agent informed me he can not insure my new home because we were south of 98. Now where we are is over 40 mile from the Gulf and the company I have trusted to insure all 4 of my auto's say they won't insure my home because we are 1-block from there so called cut off line. Obviously farmers doesnt care about me only my monthly premium, so we will spread the word about Farmers in our area and how we were treated. and we will go fish for a real insurance company that puts the customer and there needs ahead of just making money. Sure thought I could feel comfortable in farmers and found out I was dead wrong, ho well we will move all our insurance to someone else.
