I have been insured with Farmer's Insurance Group since 1988. I have my homeowner's, liability, business, and three cars insured with them. I, too, have paid for uninsured motorist coverage which it seems Farmer's is all too willing to accept the premiums for, but not provide actual coverage for. I was involved in an accident in December of 1998. I was a passenger in my husband's car on a highway traveling 50 mph when an unlicensed, uninsured motorist pulled out from a side road right in fron of us. We t-boned him at 50 miles per hour totalling his car, causing $4000.00 damage to a 2 month old car, and causing me a back injury that has required 3 1/2 years of treatment, tests and agony. Now, my "Friendly" Farmer's Insurance Company is denying my injuries, trying to say that I am a fraud, not even providing the medical expense coverage of my policy, and fighting me over a settlement saying they put the numbers into a computer database and that my injury is only worth so much. I paid all these premiums for no coverage, hassles from the Farmer's Insurance Claim Rep Darren Wright, and I want to know where the "Good Faith" is??? Farmer's may be friendly taking your money, but just wait until there is an actual claim to be made. How "Friendly" are they when you really need them????? I'd likely to "Exchange" a piece of my mind with them, but I'll be content to let their service speak for them.
