Jade,
Authors like John Maxwell and Tom Hopkins do seminars specifically designed for PFS. Tom actually stated that he will never, never do this for any other insurance company. They do their seminars at reduced cost to PFS - eg. Tom's 3 day sales "boot camp" usually costs around $2,000 plus hotel costs, but PFS' ppl only have to pay under $200 plus hotel costs. Now you have ppl saying that PFS pays these guys - maybe, but I don't know, but think how many other companies would actually do this for an employee.
Also, this year PFS will be paying out $600 million in commission fees. With under 40 ppl making $1-4 million, and 250 that make $100,000 to $500,000, that leaves a bunch to the rest of the ppl.
Now Ken will come up with hundreds of different excuses to why you shouldn't join, but that's only because of his background. He's on a revenge kick. I read on the internet (so take this as heresay) that he lost thousands of clients to PFS while working with Prudential(?) (I think it was in Dallas, TX). He lost his job and got mad at both Pru and PFS. Can't blame him for that, really. But he should go on with his life. I'd want to spend my time with my grandkids rather than on a hate filled, revenge talking research tour. My in-laws even think that he's kind of arrogant.
But anyway, PFS isn't for everybody, as the figures will tell you. Yeah, they lose quite a bit, but lots of jobs do. How many ppl can talk to strangers about their money? I can't, but at least I'm going to try. Do your research and whatever you do, I wish you the best of luck.

p.s. - To Ken Young: in regards my post to you about Sun Tzu's "The Art of War"... this book is suggested reading by some of the Fortune 500 companies. Despite the fact you compared it to books by Adolf Hitler and Rummel (both Nazi's... interesting you would mention them) and saying they're both dead and no use to them, you could say that about your Constitution - what good is it to the guys who wrote it? Tzu's book is also vital to the US military. Read the book, Ken. It's historical as well as interesting reading. Keep trying to take down PFS, Ken, but try to remember that there is more to life than PFS.
