: My car was totaled i January. It was the fault of a lunatic driver that ran me off the road, causing another car to hit me. Therefore, both the lunatic's insurance co. (Farmers) and the other car's insurance co (Geico) were found to be responsible. Farmers was to pay 75%, and Geico the other 25% of my car's worth. Farmer's was ready and had a check to me within a week. But Geico has drug this out for 10 months. First of all, they only want to pay 25% of the salvage amount. Which is not the amount of the car's worth at the time of the accident, but the amount the car was worth at the time it was sold for junk! THAT AIN'T RIGHT!! and technically, it was their customer that hit me. I don't know when I will get paid, or how much it will be, but I do know that this is ridiculous! GEICO (Dallas) SUCKS!
