But regardless of their reputation, keep in mind AFLAC is supplmental coverage. Do you have a regular disability policy with much greater coverage? A good medical plan? If not, get these taken care of first before SUPPLMENTING with AFLAC. The child was placed in children's hospital. The mother and father took off work to be with their child while she was recovering from her illness! Within 30 days after the little girls illness AFLAC had paid the family over 22,000.00. What did AFLAC supplement? : It supplemented some of income that would have been lost if the family did not have the Supplemental coverage. (AFLAC)
