10 months ago i was run off the road by a lunatic driver. this caused a pick-up truck to slam into me, totalling my BMW. Well, the lunatic driver's insurance co agreed to pay 75% (claiming most of the fault) and GEICO, the pick-up's co only 25% (even though thier customer actually hit me from behind). now when farmer's gave me the check for 75%, they wanted the title, so i gave it to them. but noe geico doesn't want to pay because they can't get the title to the car. it's been 10 months, and now they only want to pay 25% less what percentage the car brought at auction--they say farmer's is getting some money back on thier 75% because of the money from auction so they want the same kind of payback. now, the auction payed farmer's thier money, why should i lose money so that geico gets the same payback--that money should come from farmer's, shouldn't it??farmer's should give geico 25% of the amount the car sold for, not me!! how do i get this point across to these company's?? do i have a legal leg to stand on??? i'm the victim, i don't want to pay.
