: : Chris, On the life ins. They can ONLY offer Primerica Life or National Benefit Life which is owned by Primerica. Both are expensive term. They only offer Mortgage thru Travelers Bank and Trust. Their Broker/Dealer is PFSInvestments, Inc. They do offer a small hand full of mutual funds. I'll try to list them if I can remember them. MFS, Van Kampen, Oppenhiemer, Templeton, and Smith Barney. 90% is Smith Barney. The reps don't know why their office pushes this fund. The RVPs do. They used to offer AmericansFunds. But someone made a Bad Decision and they dropped them. I personally like them.
: : If you are interested in joining them. E-mail me first. I have something better. Chip

: : : Does anyone know if Primerica reps are able to provide anything other than primerica (smith-barney, citigroup, etc) products. Or can they also offer life insurance, mutual funds ( lets say american funds or mfs)from other companies?

: You say that you have something better, so you say.

: Are you licensed in each and every State to write it?

: If not, you know that you have to witness an application when it is written, don't you?

: Do you have an agent living in the applicant's State write the policy and they give you all of writing credits and commissions?

: Just curious.

Chip,

You can get a non-resident life ins. license.
Most insurance companies will let you sign without another agent being involved, and you would get full commission. You probably already know this. Apparently, Yen Koung doesn't.
