: Keep after Geico as well. They sent you to their repair shop. They have guaranteed the repair and actually advertise that (just heard it on the radio 1/2 hr ago). This is exactly why most adjusters and companies did not recommend shops in the past; it puts them in the business of collision repair. I still think its unethical, though almost every company has "pro shops". Their shop gives them a break on rates and cuts down expenses because the insurance company probably did not even inspect the vehicle, but relied upon digital photos from the shop. : Bad deal for ethical shops as well, as instead of fixing cars they have to play adjuster/appraiser as well. Free work for the insurance company. Bad deal all around when you get screwed like this guy apparently did. : : : : I had a run-n with a deer last month and to make a long story short. If you did and saw the "slip shod" work why did you accept the vehicle until the work was completed to your satisfaction before you signed a waiver representing the work had been completed and turned the insurance company check over to them? : : I am sorry, but I do not recall seeing the message as to who gave you the name of the auto repair shop.
