: Hello all,

: I'm looking to break into the financial services field and currently have a third interview with the Knights of Columbus Insurance division.

: Hoping to gain some insight from a current or past K of C insurance agent?

: Good? Bad?

:
: Thank you for any input.

What I can see from the K of C web site is that they are first of all a captive company which means you can only sell what they have and that means you will be nothing more than a salesman. That in itself is not a bad thing, but having been in a captive company , I can tell you that if you want to be a true resource for your clients, you have to have access to more than one company and be an independent agent.

Feel free to e mail me and I can send you some info on a program that will allow ou to be independent and to build your own agency.
