: : A while back I lived in NC. I had geico there and when I moved back to WI I stayed with them. When I found out that they wanted more a month for insurence than my car payment I cancelled it before I even had a bill due. I had a balance due and they sent me a bill. I mailed the check with their slip with the account number on it. They sent the check back to me so I figured they made an error. Then, they started sending me bills for the same amount. I called, and they told me that they posted it to the wrong account and now I'd have to pay them back. By then the money went to other things since it was around christmas. I didnt feel I should have to pay for their mistake. They are very irresponsible : Yes, GEICO IS very irresponsible. I worked in the corporate office in Macon, Georgia for two and a half years. It is a sweat shop of 3900 people who are so overworked and unappreciated that they are past caring about doing a decent job. Unfortunately, customers like yourself suffer as a result. I am licensed in 7 states, and GEICO is very over priced. I work with Allianz now and love it. Deborah.
