: Can anyone tell me how the "trail" cheques that primerica representatives receive are calculated> I know it is based on assets undermanagement but how exactly is this calculated? and what falls under assets under management....life insurance? mutual funds? loans etc.

Assets under management refer to mutual funds. The commission you get on mutual funds at PFS depend on your level in the company. The Broker charges a 5% sales load on the funds and the rep gets a portion fo that. when your share of the sales charges on the funds you write adds up to at least $25 you will get a check on the next cycle. There are also annual fees that are charged to mutual fund clients and the reps get a oice of those as well.
