I have a 1926 Bungelow it has upgraded electric, newer roof, looks great alot of amenties added.
the plumbing hasn't been updated to my knowlegde but it works fine. I cannot get insurance. I was cancelled by FLorida select. For the reason it was an older home. I am told in Florida my only option is Citizens the state funded insurance.
I have always carried insurance the past 11 years of ownership had NO NONE claims for anything.
I have a mortgage of 36,000 left on a value of 180,000. What can I do? I cannot believe this citizens is my only option. What a monoploy!
