Hi, I am the original poster to this subject.
A bungelow in my terms is the style the house built. Mine is 1800 sq ft w/ a 450 square foot front porch open. It has the gable roof, stained glass in the front of the gable. 2 bdrm, 1 bath.
Huge kitchen, hardwood floors, fireplace. The house is completly square. All of our neighbors are facing the same delima that was the first thing I did when calling around and finding only the state funded insurance avaiable.
It just frost me that we are not in a flood area.
Our homes have withstood hurricanes for 80 plus years and these companies won't cover us and they will still cover Mobile homes.I'm going to have to go thru the state funded JUA insuarance but I really feel that this is wrong, and just another bad thing about living in Florida.
