Put me in the same position. I was parked at a gas station gas pump getting ready to get out of my car when my 2 week old car was struck in the left front by a Mercedes SUV. Police officer moonlighting as a security guard, car in front of me, and my passenger all as wittnesses. Two years later, and many many phone calls to my agent (past tense I am no longer with Farmers, and recommend everyone leave them) I find out at 2 years and 6 days that they just discovered that the other driver did not have insurance and have forwarded my claim to their recovery department with a disclaimer stating that I might get 10% of my deductible back. You cannot fathom my outrage at the total lack of regard for a customer who had been with them for over 15 years. They just DON'T care about the customers, unless they are late on a payment (which I never was). If you are a Farmer's customer, consider this case and the others posted here, then make your own decision where you are best served. Angry in California
