I doubt seriously that Pru monitors this board. I would suggest you telephone the policy service division of Pru in Newark. Provide them with the policy number and they will look up the policy's history in their system. If the death claim was not made at the time of your mother's death, besides the face amount of the policy you should also receive interest on the death proceeds.
