What specific tests are performed on the blood and urine samples that are collected? Is this standard among different states and insurance companies?
: : is it 'standard procedure' for major carriers to require an independent blood/urine/healath test?
: : What type of credentials does the person performing the test carry?

: Most of the insurance company's have different underwiting guidelines.
: Prior to my retirement when I was active selling insurance, my experience was that in those instances younger people (depending upon the face amount of life insurance they were applying for) could expect to be required to submit to a blood test.
: The reson for this was the sudden break-out of sexually transmitted dreaded diseases in the 1970s during what was know as the "Sex Revolution".
: Requirement man have changed since I retired eleven years ago, but in those years a person administering a blood test or even a phyical examination for required for a life insurance application must have a least had a degree as a Paramedic or higher such as a LPN.
: Since it appears that the question you posed concerns you, you may want to ask the agent who is selling the insurance policy to you what his company's requirments for the examiner are.
: By the way, many States even have many different requirements levels of training before one peerson can draw blood from a different person and be within the law in doing so.
