I've also discovered that if you have the money to hire a good lawyer lots of things can be disappeared from your DMV. But nothing disappears from CLUE. If I were to go strictly by a DMV and not run a CLUE I'd have one very unhappy underwriter to deal with. There are some auto companies that are extremely picky in that regard. I have one that runs credit checks as a matter of fact for auto or home as well as CLUE. : CLUE covers homeowners claims, but not auto. Auto insurers go by your motor vehicle record and credit rating.
