Joe,
Let's clarify something first of all. I understand that you are vested in your commissions and overrides. What you are saying is misleading because you seem to imply that once you recruit someone you will receive overrides on their business forever after you leave AG. This cannot be true. You will receive overrides on your vested commissions, and that means sales that were completed prior to you cancelling your appointment with AG. There is no way that AG can continue to pay you override commissions, (legally), on new sales after you have terminated your appointment with them.
This is not a major issue with us because we receive advanced commissions and the most we will lose out on is the 10th, 11th and 12th month of as-earned commissions. My point would be why terminate your appointment? HBW and AG will allow you to have two code numbers. You can just start doing all your business with your new code number and after you have received all of your commissions from your HBW code number then you can cancel your appointment. No big deal!
You asked the following question:
"WHY WOULD A RECRUIT, WHO IS MAKING THE SAME AS THE PERSON WHO RECRUITED HIM, STAY WITH THAT PERSON INSTEAD OF HAVING HIS OWN SHOP?????"
The recruit doesn't have to stay with the person that recruited them. He/she can open their own shop any time they want. The nice thing is that the person that recruited him/her will still get an override from the production of that person and it has no effect on the commission they are receiving.
Right now if you recruited an agent and promoted them to your contract level you would not receive any overrides at all. With our system you would. It's that simple. We can also give an agent a top contract that they can make a living on and never have to recruit. Our contract levels also go up to 110% and at that level there is also a monthly volume bonus paid out by AG. Do you have that in your contract?
If you are not with HBW and never will be then why are you spending so much time finding out about them? If you are happy with your contract and your situation, then power to you. HBW tried to develop a system that would reward both the producer and the recruiter and still leave us completely independent and non-captive. They did a pretty good job. You can alway find something about a system that you do not like and I can probably find one or two with your system. Stick with what you are happy with.
: : Joe,
: :
: I talked to the HBW home office in Simi, CA yesterday.
: I presented the question that since I would be paid directly from AG, both my commissions and over-rides from my downline, would I continue getting paid, not only my commissions, but the over-rides on my downline.
: Susan was one of the ones that I talked to.
: I was told that while I would continue getting my commissions. MY DOWNLINE WOULD BE ASSSIGNED TO THE PERSON WHO RECRUITED ME, AND THAT ALL OVER-RIDES WOULD GO TO HIM!!!!
: IN OTHER WORDS, VESTED ON MY PERSONAL PRODUCTION ONLY. NOT ON MY DOWNLINE.
: WHY DON'T YOU CALL THE HOME OFFICE AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF?????
: I PERSONALLY FEEL, AFTER MANY YEARS IN THE BUSINESS, THAT RECRUITS HAVE TOO HIGH OF A TURNOVER FOR ME TO MESS WITH. BUT THAT IS JUST ME.
: I AM NOT WITH HBW, AND NEVER WILL BE, BUT I DO HAVE A TOP CONTRACT WITH AG. IF I RECRUIT A DOWNLINE AND LEAVE, THEY WILL STILL PAY ME MY OVER-RIDES ON THE PRODUCTION OF MY RECRUITS.
: WHY WOULD A RECRUIT, WHO IS MAKING THE SAME AS THE PERSON WHO RECRUITED HIM, STAY WITH THAT PERSON INSTEAD OF HAVING HIS OWN SHOP?????
