: : : It's obvious to me based upon your negative comments posted on this board that you'll never be successful at anything you do unless you make some very serious changes in your life.
: : : You have to have a winning attitude and a decent work ethic to succeed!
: : : Nothing that's worth anything is easy.
: : : Primerica is not a scam, it's an opportunity for people to earn a decent living by telling people the truth.
: : : It's not a get rich quick scheme or MLM. The part of it that you think is MLM is just icing on the cake. There is a real opportunity to make 6 figures in about a year or two, if you work for it. And that is just by being a producer (a hard worker). If you're not willing to work for it, then you should just as well be happy just where your at.
: : : The only person stopping yourself from being successful is YOU!
: : : You have to think like a winner to be one. Take a look at your current situation and attitude and do your own soul searching.
: : : If not Primerica than someplace else, but the key is YOU!

: : PFS Winner,
: : The tone of your comments is the typical MLM attitude..."if you didn't make it, then it's because you're a complete failure." In practice, I completely agree w/ you that this industry is a very tough. However, there is a clear difference in my opinion between having a winning attitude and having the desire to recruit the world so they can make money for you, blah blah blah. We could debate the drawbacks of MLMs all day long, but that's not the purpose for my reply. While I agree w/ part of the message you are trying to convey, I must completely disagree w/ your statement "that you'll never be successful at anything you do..." Althought I did work for Primerica, I worked for another well known MLM and I consider it a complete failure. I left the industry and hav since returned to as I like to refer to it, "do it right this time." So while I may have failed at the MLM route, I'm very much succeeding at running my own Managing General Agent agency/broker-dealer. In fact, I bet that if I were to take some of your unsuccessful, "never going to win" ex-Primerica people, train them properly and assist them the way a true MGA should, they could potentially become just as successful as you.
: : In sum, while I agree that the "you" are important to your own success, sometimes the "only person stopping yourself from success," at least in my case, was being associated with an MLM.
: Well said, not everybody that leaves Primerica is a loser. In fact, I would say it's the other way around.
Great comments gentlemen.
You're right, not everybody that leaves Primerica
is a loser. That is if they left having the right attitude. If you have the right attitude about it, Primerica would be a great place to start your career in this type of industry. Low startup costs and a plethora of industry and self improvement and motivational support are available to you.
I guess my main point is that YOU have to have the right attitude and YOU are the only one that caontrol your destiny anywhere, period!
Have a great day!
