Yes, she only has to be on the health plan one full day to qualify. Unless her employer has less than 20 employees, she is not a federal employee, located in Washington DC, or working for a church related organization.

Also she has to notify the health plan administrator.

: My daughter has been employed less than 2 months with her company, but has to quit her job. She was given health insurance from the day of her employment. If she quits before 60 days has elapsed can she obtain COBRA? If she is fired, can she obtain COBRA?
