I worked for Liberty mutual in the claims department for six months. I recieved personal injury claims over the phone and iniitiated he papework. Often, a call-in claim's paperwork wiould be completed, let's say on a Thursday, yet on or arounf the followng Tuesday all that claim paperwork had simply disappeared, and could not be found where I had filed it. I informed supervision about this issue, of disappearing paperwork (claims). My supervisor's reaction was do nothing, and the claims kept disappearing--not all, mostly hospital claims of various sorts. I later informed HIS supervisor, and two weeks later my supervisor discharged me. He was a very slovenish individual, very unkempt. Liberty Mutual, I found out, was having a claims crisis, and this was their solution--to create these delays. All those poor people had to call in their claims AGAIN. Imagine, they must have waited perhaps monthsd thinking the claim was being processed, only to find that they weren't even in the system. And who knows, some may have completely given up? So I know not to deal with Liberty Mutual, First Hand Experience. I would strangle my former liberty mutual supervisor with my bare hands if I met him on the street.
