As for the operating state of USAA I would like to say that the company is not like other insurance companies. Member owned and member driven the company seeks to do what is right by all members of USAA. For those members that have unfortuante incidents in a three year time frame your pattern of occurances warrant you going to the General Agency. This compay is not giving USAA rates, it is providing you rates that fit your new driving profile. In time without further incidents you will see a decrease. No other company out there takes care of the military community in my opinion better than USAA. For those who have served and take responsibility for your actions you will understand that USAA gives back to its members and the communities where they work. As a 10 year member I have had incidents, seen auto rate increases, and experienced not so world class service from USAA. Yet I will stay a member for life due to the fact that only USAA maintains a corporate culture that respects and appreciates the soldiers in the armed services and continually looks for ways to help better the members and the organizations financial stregth. If USAA wanted to see a huge bonus for its employees, it could open up membership to every tom, dick, and harrietta that called in for insurance. Then all USAA members would see an increase in rates to attempt and off set the larger amount of poor risk rated individuals that want to be with USAA so they can save a few dollars and pass on their own driving record challenges to all the other members. If every person donated $1.00 to a worthy cause you can end up with millions. The problem is there will always be those people that feel they are the worthy cause and want the entire pot for themself. Its your driving record or other financial miss haps that are driving your USAA rate, not the possible USAA bonus.
