I would have to agree with these comments. I have had USAA for about 5 years and filed my first claim for water damage on my home caused by bursting pipes. For all the money I was paying little did I suspect I would be put on trial!!!!
I had to actually go to the District manager to get a new person assigned to my claim because the first adjuster continously tried to short change me by keeping me in the dark. Luckily I have friends in the insurance biz that told me what was supposed to be done and what unreputable companies attempt to do. But I would never have thought USAA would attempt these tatics as I have always heard good things about them. Unfortunately as the nature of the business dictates its all about taking our money and not giving it back so I doubt I will find any honest company that is still in business out there. But I will keep searching as USAA definitely isn't it!
