I recently had a auto liability claim against a USAA policy holder. The claim representative was rude and unprofessional. He made me drive our car 30 miles to get an appraisal even when I mentioned the car is not in safe condition to drive after the accident. It took over a month to process the claim. I can never reach the claim rep and had to leave 3-4 messages before I can get a return call. Terrible service. I'm fortunate not have USAA as my own insurance company. No wonder the company is in serious decline.
