NORMAL agencies DO NOT recruit as many sales people as they can get their hands on. NORMAL agencies know what their area can support in the way of sales and they limit the number of agents accordingly so that their agents and there by the agency itself is successful. NORMAL agencies are VERY particular about who they hire; they're not just looking to hire anyone. NORMAL agencies sell policies period, they DO NOT RECRUIT. NORMAL agencies, if you're lucky occasionally hire new agents or replace departing agents, but their agent numbers are notoriously stable. : You've never worked for a REAL agency have you. The company believes in term insurance but we do not preach that it is the right thing 100% of the time. : : You know why I know this? Our promotions are based on production numbers, not recruits!! Todd is hell-bent on bashing anything that remotely resembles MLM. Insurance general agencies are a form of MLM. In fact, I do business with another general agency that told me I could bring in another agent at a lower contract and get an override. You will see that they are just a normal agency like everyone else. : : I think every company sometimes hires people that are a little over-zealous and they end up talking out of their asses.
