United Healthcare is also notorius for dropping your doctor that was previously in the network out of the network for no apparent reason. I have heard this from many of my coworkers in a fortune 100 company. They also are very bad about claims that come from your physician group and will reject claims are out of network for your doctor even though the group is in the network. I asked them about this once, and the excuse was that their computer systems were not setup to lookup a doctor to see if he/she is part of a group that is in the network.

I hope United Healthcare improves their processes in the future as there are other choices out there for Healthcase Benefits Administrators and I am sure they would not want to lose our business.
