In any sales job the only people who get paid are the ones who actually can and do go out and sell. Whether you are on commission or on salery, you will need to perform your job function sooner or later or the income will stop. The difference is we tell you this up front and you know exactly where you stand at all times.
We often give people a chance to prove themselves who have had some misfortune in their careers but look eager to make a comeback and make their mark. These people somtimes become our best performers, who will become District Coordinators and Regional Coordinators, our State and Territory Coordinators. Indeeed, our new National Sales Director, Brad Jones, is one such example. He was told early in his career that he would never be a good salesman and should look elswhere for work. He joined AFLAC and the rest is history.
The Associate job at AFLAC is not for kids. If you have some drive and ambition, we will train you how to build your own business working with as much or little supervision as you want.
Regarding Customer Service, I have been in the Office Products industry for 22 years and have seen first hand what bad customer service is, and AFLAC's is not it. I've never seen customer service that's close to this good, although I will not pretend there is no room for improvement still. Nothing is perfect, not in this world!
I'm sorry you had a bad experiance with AFLAC, and I hope you find your ideal job.
