My suggestion to you, as a claims adjuster for another large insurance company, is to send in a letter of reconsideration, asking that someone else, preferably a supervisor, reviews the claim again...if that does not work, you can make a complaint with the department of insurance of your state, but keep in mind, the complaint will only be valid if they have not followed the department's guidelines....
What are the specifics of the accident, maybe I can give you some insight?
