PFS is the same as any other financial services business when it comes to the actual business of helping families. The only differences between Primerica and any other financial services firm (or being independent) are: 1) Primerica's sales force uses most of the concepts of MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) for distribution. Other than those two things, there is really no difference between PFS and anyone else. We have to get referrals/leads the same way as everyone else, we have to set appointments like everyone else, we have to be able to have a product that people actually need like everyone else. And as of January 2004, the recent changes in PFS' SMART program and Term Life program really make them much more competitive than ever before.
