: I agree. PFS is the same as any other financial services business when it comes to the actual business of helping families. The only differences between Primerica and any other financial services firm (or being independent) are:
: 1) Primerica's sales force uses most of the concepts of MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) for distribution.
: 2) Primerica's target market is narrower than other firms/independents.
: Other than those two things, there is really no difference between PFS and anyone else. We have to get referrals/leads the same way as everyone else, we have to set appointments like everyone else, we have to be able to have a product that people actually need like everyone else. And as of January 2004, the recent changes in PFS' SMART program and Term Life program really make them much more competitive than ever before.
****Enrique..People at PFS are sold a dream of financial independence. That being the case shouldn't compensation be a major issue to the new person?
I have noticed people will defend the company, but what about the individual? I think PFS has a well thought out marketing plan, and people can make money. My question is where is the loyalty placed?
The contracts a new person signs is different than what other companies have to offer. At some companies your clients are yours.
As for the policies, i'm sure you have heard about the fattening of America..Now what happens when the term runs out?
Diabetes is becoming a major problem. Also as you may know, people arn't saving as they should. BTID sounds good, but I can see all hell breaking loose when the baby boomers start retiring in masses.
Primerica has a good idea, but just know how it effects you going in and coming out. Be it , death, disability, or retirement...PFS knows their rights, it's best that you know your rights so you can protect your downline (immediate family)
PFS is a business, treat it as such..
