$2.7 Billion was paid out in life insurance claims for the 9/11 disaster. More than 20 life insurers paid claims, including Transamerica, CNA, John Hancock, UNUM, Canada Life, Manulife, Prudential, NYL.... Nowhere in any of the insurer lists I have seen is Primerica mentioned. Travellers is, but not Primerica. Primerica is only mentioned on message boards by Primerica agents. If anyone can point to a reference anywhere showing any insured losses covered by Primerica at 9/11, please post a link. : I believe Enrique is being overzealous here, what I was told, was that four major companies paid out claims on 9/11, Primerica was one of the four.
