: There you go, folks. Straight from the horse's mouth. A Primerica agent with no value about the time value of money, as it relates to mortgages. This guy would replae your 7% loan with a 9% loan and tell you you're getting the deal of a lifetime as long as you pay bi-weekly.

: See what I mean?

You, like one of the other posters, also failed to notice the bold letters in with which I typed "Total Interest Paid". And yes, I would happily refi someone else, or even myself, at a higher percentage rate, if the TOTAL INTEREST PAID was less, because guess what? The TOTAL INTEREST PAID is actually the TOTAL INTEREST PAID. The percentage is only a percent. It doesn't state what the TOTAL INTEREST PAID is. Am I clear, or do you need more explaining. One more time. If the TOTAL INTEREST PAID is less, then who cares what the percentage is?? Maybe your still not gettting it. If the TOTAL INTEREST PAID is less that means SAVING MONEY. Even if the percent is higher. Ok, one more time, lets pretend the TOTAL INTEREST PAID with 7% is $200,000 over the life of the loan, but the TOTAL INTEREST PAID with a Primerica loan at 9% is only $150,000. That means the TOTAL INTEREST PAID was less reguardless of the "percentage". Of course I would go with the 9% if the TOTAL INTEREST PAID was less. Are you understanding this??? No one else seems to have a problem with this concept. Do you just choose not to understand because it doesn't fit your agenda?? It seems so.
