I will just say this.
Current customers may find themselves getting calls from american general for more loans. it looks like they have something where if you have a loan with them, and you apply for a loan elsewhere, they mysteriously call you a few days later asking how you are doing. I have a friend working at their headquarters that did not tell me directly they are doing this, but did not disagree with me (which means they are doing it).
