: AM Best Ratings: http://www.ambest.com/ratings/guidesoverview.pdf

: Primerica: A++
: Prudential: A
: AIG: A

: Also, as to your comment about claims paid out, you must be confused. Of course companies that sell WHOLE LIFE will pay more claims than one that sells only TERM. I mean, DUH. Whole Life policies never expire. It doesnt mean that the customer isnt getting ripped off - THEY ARE. In fact, it just goes to show HOW MANY people are getting ripped off by Whole Life! Saying that income vs claim payouts is an indicator of a companies effectiveness is misleading and deceptive. Any investor that has an IQ over, like, 4, knows that "Buy Term and Invest The Difference" is a sound strategy, Superior to owning Whole Life. Its in every financial magazine and journal, said by every financial expert, and accepted as an Industry Fact. Buy Term and Invest the Difference isnt something Primerica made up, I'll admit that. But we sure are damn proud to follow the principle it stands for.

As always, the Primerica people have facts about the rest of the industry incorrect.

Primerica is A++ they are right about that.
Prudential P & C is A but their life division is A+.
AIG or American General is A++.
These are accurate as of 3/19/04.
